How to get to NIDIC
The Northern Ireland Dental Centre is ideally situated for access from all parts of Ireland as has been demonstrated over the years by the geographic diversity of our patients. By road, rail or air we are within easy reach yet well away from the busy city traffic that frustrates us all!
Patients from all over Northern Ireland normally drive to the Centre and really appreciate the fact that they don't have to struggle with nose to tail traffic and they can literally park at the door. Patients from the Dublin area either drive ( 1 hour 30 minutes) or take the train to Portadown and complete the journey with a 20 minute taxi ride to NIDIC. Those from further afield fly to Belfast International Airport followed by a 20 minute taxi ride or Belfast City Airport followed by a 40 minute taxi ride.
The map below can be used to determine your route and approximate travel time - simply click on "View larger map" then "Get directions" and your route will appear from door to door. As part of the service offered at NIDIC patients receive written directions and a photograph of the Centre to help with their travel.
If you are travelling a considerable distance you may consider overnight accomodation and to help with this we have negotiated preferential rates with the following;
Newforge House, 2 minutes from NIDIC - visit www.newforgehouse.com
Edenmore Golf and Country Club, 5 minutes from NIDIC - visit www.edenmore.com/
Ballycanal Manor, 10 minutes from NIDIC - visit www.ballycanalmanor.com/
